Create a National Team
2024 National Teams Impact
A National Team gives you the opportunity to engage with your community, raise awareness and dollars to support the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation all over the country. Build a National Team by recruiting and registering three or more teams participating in fundraising events across the country or within the same chapter. Teams can select among the multiple event types — Great Strides, CF Cycle for Life, CF Climb, Breathe Team, Team CF and Xtreme Hike. Your 3 teams can also collectively support the same event. National Teams set a collective fundraising goal of $10,000.
In 2023, National Teams collectively raised over $4 million.

Family and Civic National Teams
National Family and Civic Teams are 3 or more teams participating in different fundraising events across the country. Teams can be made up of family, friends, members of sorority or fraternities, neighbors, or anyone who wants to join the fight again cystic fibrosis.

Fill out the national team form (insert link from new website). A member from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation staff will reach out to you
How do additional branch teams register?
When registering for an event, select Create or Join a Team. The team divison will be National and you can select the National Team, your team should be associated with.
What do I do if a branch team is not linked to my national team?
Contact specialevents@cff.org or reach out to your local chapter
Is there a minimum fundraising amount to be considered a National Team?
National family teams should set a goal of $10,000. Your local chapter staff and national team staff partners are here to support you in reaching your fundraising goals.

Attendance Policy
The CF Foundation is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and healthy experience for individuals attending Foundation Events. Individuals attending CF Foundation events must abide by the Foundation’s Attendance Policy and accompanying guidelines, which include guidance for event attendee’s living with cystic fibrosis.
