Our Story
We'd like you to meet Andy (http://tinyurl.com/memories-of-andy), our
son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. For his short 25 years
of life, Andy heroically battled Cystic Fibrosis (CF), a
life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive
system. Sadly, Andy lost his battle on May 8th of 2012. After watching
his video, you will agree that Heaven gained an amazing angel who left
us with many special memories and life lessons.
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis.
They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and
co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. Real progress has
been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are
still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating
disease.
In memory of Andy, his family and friends continue participate in
Great Strides walks across the US: Wisconsin (x2), Utah, and Florida.
Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national
fundraising event with hundreds of walks taking place across the country
each year to raise funds to support the search for a cure. Join our
team and walk with us or make a donation to add tomorrows to other
struggling with this disease. Your gift is 100% tax deductible.
