Oakley's Tribe

Oakley has Delta F508 genes, she has 2 of the same yet the most common gene type. She is currently trying out her first year of Orkambi and is thriving! She is a farm loving rough housing 2 year old with a sour patch personality. Our family is hoping we are able to continue the yearly donations to the CF foundation not only to help Oaks quality of life but all others who are affected by CF.

Last Year we raised over $19,000 in donations, which was completely mind blowing! We wanted to say our continued Thank You's to everyone who helped make that large donation possible and hopes that we can do just as well this year!

With supporters like you by our side, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation continues to lead the way in the fight against CF, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress. The life expectancy of someone born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years. Despite this progress, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies either because their disease is too advanced or because their specific genetic mutations will not respond. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day in the face of this devasting disease.
