About Our CF Cycle for Life

Join the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Utah Idaho Chapter on August 17th for the 12th annual CF Cycle for Life! This fully supported ride with route options of 10, 25, 35, 55, 75, 100 miles takes you through picturesque Summit County. From breakfast to our cycle post party with Shades Brewing, participants can enjoy fully stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, bike mechanics, and support vehicles to help them complete their ride. Along the route, riders will have the chance to meet children and adults with cystic fibrosis and hear their stories. All proceeds support the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives by funding research and drug development, partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality, specialized care.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Helmets are required for ALL riders. Riders must be 16 years of age or older to participate in-person. Riders 16-18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. There is no age requirement for virtual riders.

How to participate:

Register: Register to participate in person or virtually by clicking the “register to cycle” button.

Recruit: Encourage your family, friends, and colleagues to join you.

Fundraise: Fundraising is easier than ever before. You can use the participant center, the Fight CF mobile app, or fundraise on Facebook to reach your goal. You can also create a passion fundraising event or see if your employer has a matching gift program.

Share your story: Life with cystic fibrosis is different for every person living with the disease. Share your story to help others understand the realities of life with CF and why your participation in CF Cycle for Life is important.

Cycle with us: Join the CF community on event day to celebrate our progress and commitment to finding a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis.

At the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, we commit to equity, racial justice, diversity, and inclusion as core principles guiding our efforts to provide all people with CF the opportunity to live long, fulfilling lives. We strive to host inclusive and accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Please be aware that a 3-week notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for the Foundation to arrange. If you have a disability and require accommodations to fully participate in this activity, please go to www.cff.org/chapters and email or call your local chapter office.

Pet Policy

For events where pets are welcome: be respectful of other event attendees and only bring well-behaved pets; keep pets on leash at all times; follow the pet policies of the local park or venue; and clean-up after your pet. Pets must be current on all required vaccinations. Pet owners assume full responsibility for their pets.

A thank you to our sponsors

Our events wouldn’t be possible without the support of our national sponsors: AbbVie and Vertex, and our national peer-to-peer sponsors. We also recognize American Airlines, our outstanding corporate supporter.
