Time has caught up with me and so has my life sadly. My dear Dad passed away in November. It has been difficult and painful for myself and my family but we are reminded everyday how he loved life and made the best of every minute he had on this earth.
One thing I know my dad was proud of me for was my passion to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Dad wrote a check to Natalie’s Stand every year for the last 17 years since Natalie was diagnosed with CF. I want to continue to make him proud by continuing to raise funds in an effort to find a cure for this horrible disease which effects my niece, Natalie and tens of thousands of others.
Help the Foundation by donating to this year’s CFF Great Strides annual fund raising event. This year it takes place on May 18th at the Houston Zoo. I would love to see you out there. Details can be found on the web.
Natalie is continuing to do well but she deserves a cure. Soon the very smart and dedicated research scientists will make CF stand for Cure Found so Natalie and all others no longer have to suffer. But as you all know this can’t be done without our money.
Please donate what you can. I appreciate your generosity.
Thank you all for helping to find a cure and for making my Dad proud!
