Since 2011, the Atlanta insurance community has come together to form Insure the Cure and walk in Great Strides in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Insure the Cure was formed in honor of Clay Snellings’ daughter, Emily. Emily was born with cystic fibrosis, a rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that affects every organ in the body and makes breathing difficult. Currently, there is no cure.
Through Insure the Cure, the insurance community has raised over $2,000,000 to fuel the mission of the CF Foundation. This initiative has helped the Foundation make tremendous strides in accelerating innovative research and drug development, as well as advancing care and advocacy. There are now four FDA-approved therapies, Kalydeco®, Symdeko®, Orkambi®, and Trikafta® that treat the basic defect in cystic fibrosis for more than half of the CF population.
But we are not done. We are working every day to build on this incredible momentum, and we will not stop until there is a cure for all people living with CF. Thank you for joining us as we try to help Insure the Cure!

ATTENDANCE POLICY:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, indoor events sponsored by the CF Foundation are strictly prohibited at this time. Scheduled outdoor events must adhere to strict requirements to minimize the risk of COVID-19 infection. Events may be subject to change at any time based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON ATTENDANCE AT OUTDOOR FOUNDATION EVENTS:
To minimize the risk of COVID-19 infection, attendees at CF Foundation events must adhere to the following requirements:
Persons with CF should consult their physician before participation in any in-person event as they may be at an increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19. People with CF should maintain a safe 6-foot distance from persons outside of their household at all times.
