I usually ride when it's quieter
Hi, folks:
You know my love for riding a bike through the city. In a few weeks, I'll join seven friends and several thousand acquaintances to ride in the TDBank Five Boro Bike Tour, raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. My pal, co-congregant, and fellow political troublemaker Melissa Shiffman lives with this disease, and by riding with her husband and others I'm aiming to raise at least $750 to help cure it.
To quote the organization you'll be supporting: "The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them."
