My Team CF Story

I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when I was one year old. The adolescent period of my life was a constant battle of contracting and treating a variety of different illnesses stemming from my failing lungs. In 2019, I was fortunate enough to start on the genetically modifying drug (Trikafta) which has completely changed the trajectory of my life. Despite this miracle, I still battle with CF and hope that one day a cure can be found. I choose to live every day of my newfound life to the fullest and embrace all the limitations I used to have. I never believed that running a marathon would be possible for me and I am thrilled to announce that I am partnering with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to complete the 2024 Chicago Marathon. I am looking forward to combining my love for running with raising awareness for all of those affected by this incurable disease. This marathon will be dedicated to all the CF warriors out there who refuse to give up on their goals. Thank you all in advance for your support.
