We (Tucker Jaroll + Gordon Cunningham) are participating in the 2024 Chicago Marathon in order to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.
One of our best friends, Abby Good was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis in infancy. We have seen the impact this disease has had on Abby's life, and want to help raise money for a cure.
A bit about Cystic Fibrosis-
There is currently no cure for Cystic Fibrosis. By participating in Team CF, we are hoping to raise money in order to find a cure for this disease, which affects around 70,000 people worldwide.
Cystic Fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms can vary form person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to serious health issues.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress - including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments - but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them.
