My Team CF Story

Just two years ago, I began my personal journey to find joy in running and prove that I indeed could finish one of running's biggest challenges. Three marathons later, I'm looking to hit the halfway mark on the world's marathon majors by completing the Chicago Marathon!

It was also two years ago I began learning more about Cystic Fibrosis and supporting the foundation by raising money and awareness to find a cure. One of my best friends and running inspirations, Leanne, has two sisters with CF and has been leading efforts across New York for years to turn the tables in this disease. 

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. By participating in Team CF, I am helping to end this disease for thousands of people impacted by CF. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.
