My Team CF Story

Friends and Family,

On October 13, 2024, I'm taking on a huge challenge and running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As luck would have it, I've secured my bib through the Chicago Marathon lottery and chose to align it with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I'm officially running for and dedicating my 26.2 miles to Team CF!

Many of you have supported me and the Commers Knock-Out Crew during our Great Strides 5k walks, so you know there is no cure for Cystic Fibrosis. By participating in the Chicago Marathon for Team CF, I am hoping to raise funds and bring awareness to this disease for thousands of people living with Cystic Fibrosis, especially my little friends, Kevin and Livi.

In August, Kevin and Livi will turn TEN years old! Despite the daily challenges of living with Cystic Fibrosis, Kevin is a rising mathlete who loves soccer and adores his family, while Livi is an aspiring gymnast who is collecting many first-place medals on her club gymnastics team. This October, Kevin and Livi will make the trek to Florida to visit the Happiest Place on Earth as Livi’s wish was recently granted by the Make a Wish Foundation.
