• Team Leaders - register to participate by clicking the “Start or renew a team" button
• Team Members - register to participate by clicking the “Join a team” button (if your Team Leader has already registered the team)
• Individual Surfer - click the “Register as an individual” button and you will be placed on a team on the event day
• NOTE: There are two options when registering, "Surfer" and "Virtual Surfer" - read below for details on both and be sure to select the correct option.

CONTEST FACTS:

• Team are comprised of 4 surfers. Each surfer must commit to raising or donating a minimum of $150.
• Every individual, surfer or virtual surfer, who raises $150 or more will receive a 2024 CFF t-shirt!
• All surfers who raise at least $500 will receive a 2024 Surf for CF sweatshirt!
• The contest will be judged on a point system. The three teams with the highest points at the end of the open rounds will advance to the Finals to compete for prizes.
• Points will be awarded for catching a wave, dance moves, pirouette, switchstance, hang 5, cockroach, coffin, driving a car, headstand, hang 10 and a party wave.
• “Virtual surfers” are teammates who want to show support through fundraising efforts for the team. There is no limit to the amount of “virtual surfers” per team. There is no registration fee and no fundraising minimum for virtual surfers.

Pet Policy

For events where pets are welcome: be respectful of other event attendees and only bring well-behaved pets; keep pets on leash at all times; follow the pet policies of the local park or venue; and clean-up after your pet. Pets must be current on all required vaccinations. Pet owners assume full responsibility for their pets.

Events may be subject to change based on health or safety concerns. If an event is moved to virtual, sponsorship benefits may be adjusted to fit that format. If an event is cancelled your local contact will reach out to discuss options.
