My Team CF Story
Henry of #TeamHenry riding for a cure!
Dear Team Henry Friends, Family and Associates,
As we all know the world changed forever in 2020. We were confronted with the reality that life was changing immeasurably. The value of our strength as families and a community was never clearer. Now, as we enter 2022, my hope is that we continue to remember the strength we have when we work together. I believe that together, is the only way we will make CF stand for Cure Found!
Henry, the namesake behind #TeamHenry, is now an active, happy 1st grader with a little sister and a baby brother on the way! Henry’s parents work incredibly hard to make life as normal as possible for him despite his diagnosis. Their journey became a bit easier in 2019 when Henry received his Vest System. The Vest is worn by Henry to help clear his lungs of the thick, sticky mucus that his body creates. The vest was developed in large part with funds and research sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Tangible, life changing results like these motivate us to keep working towards a cure!
The Classic, a motorcycle event sponsored by The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Merrimack Valley Trail Riders, will return to New Hampshire. On June 11th we will once again ride to raise funds for the fight against Cystic Fibrosis. This event alone has raised millions of dollars for the 70,000+ people around the world that fight this disease and as always I am grateful for the chance to participate in that fight!
I am always incredibly humbled by the outpouring of love and generous financial support we have received in the past. #TeamHenry has raised more than $54,360 for a cure! If you would like to make a donation to this year’s fundraiser please scan the QR code to the right for a link to my fundraising page or mail a check to the address here.
Peace,
Mark
