Our Xtreme Hike Story

Why we hike...

We hike for a cure for our 9 year old nephew, Shea, and for all people living with Cystic Fibrosis. 

Cystic Fibrosis is a life-shortening disease that affects the lungs and pancreas, among other things. There is still no cure for this disease. With proper funding for medical research, we have already made a big difference with new drugs and treatments. 

While real progress toward our mission has been made, the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. Our team is determined to ensure that every person with CF can live a long, healthy life, without the limitations caused by their disease. 

We will continue to raise funds for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation each year in hopes that CF will soon stand for Cure Found!
