My Xtreme Hike Story
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are parents, siblings, children, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe.
I hike for them and for their families. I hike in memory of my dear sister-in-law and friend Catherine Comello Stehlin, who passed away in 2016. I hike to support her brothers Tim and John, who also have CF.
On October 2, Joe and I will once again participate in the Xtreme Hike to raise funds for research for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It is Joe's fifth hike and my second. Our hiking team includes Comello family members and friends. As always, we are inspired on the trails by Catherine's adventurous spirit: this is just the kind of thing she'd love!
Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease, and many lives are cut far too short. With your help, we can invest our resources in research today, while raising funds for tomorrow, to ensure we have what it takes to reach the finish line.
We hope you will support us!
