My Xtreme Hike Story

Going 4 Brooke...that is the reason I hike. My cousin was diagnosed with this life altering condition at a very young age. That fact never defined her. What did was her amazing laugh and beaming smile that brightened anyone's day who was lucky enough to witness them. She was the one you called at any hour of the day wanting to do anything or nothing at all. I have an ever-growing list of things to discuss with her over some Mt. Dew. These are the memories I treasure of my best friend that keep me striving to find a cure.

This hike has become one way for us to remember and honor Brooke alongside those just as passionate.
