Dave and I are proud to be participating in our 11th year with the CF Foundation Metro D.C. Chapter's Xtreme Hike!
While we love the camaraderie and challenge of Xtreme Hike, our real purpose is to raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis research. CF is a genetically inherited disease affecting the lungs and digestive system. There are tens of thousands of Americans living with CF, including one of Everett's favorite Aunties. Thus, fighting - and eventually curing - this disease is very important to our family, and the ultimate goal of our continued participation in this crazy event.
I'm hoping to raise $2,500 by the time we hit the trail on September 21. If you are able to, please consider making a donation of any amount to our effort. Every dollar helps improve the life of someone living with CF.
