Our Xtreme Hike Story

We are a CF Family. CF is a rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that makes it hard to breathe, affects the digestive and other essential systems of the body, and can render CFers very vulnerable to infection. Despite incredible medical and scientific progress, many with CF do not benefit from existing therapies because their disease is too advanced or their genetic mutation will not respond.

The MA Xtreme Hike Jiminy Peak June 9-11 is 25 miles up in and around the ski trails and through state forestland. For all CF families, for babies newly diagnosed, for the children and adults living with CF, we will put our able bodies to work – to raise awareness, to raise money for further therapeutic development and expanded support services, and to help more CFers like our Keenan survive and thrive.
