My Xtreme Hike Story

In early 2016, my closest friend Carolyn's son, Kiran, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a rare genetic disease that affects approximately 40,000 Americans and just 100,000 people worldwide. Kiran is currently in 2nd grade and has remained in good health with the help of drug developments in recent years. Carolyn writes, "Kiran is strong-willed, precocious and compassionate and we know that his future is bright due to the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation." 

This June, I'm joining the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Team Kiran at the Xtreme Hike in MA to support Kiran, his family, and all the people effected by CF. While there has been major progress in treating the disease, there is still no cure. With your help and support, we can make a difference in the lives of so many.
