My Xtreme Hike Story
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I hike for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?
Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. While Tricafta is considered the miracle drug, there are still some of us not on this live saving medication, I am one of those people. I am in the hospital for a few weeks, every two to three months and have become allergic to ALL IV medications which makes the administration of them harder on my body and phsyical well being. Being 36, there is so much more living I want to do!
I am blessed to have a very supportive network of family and friends, and my sernice dog, Doc, to make every day living easie, and without them I would not be where I am today. I could not be happier to take care of my neices and newphew a few days a week. I have a lot of hope for the future of Cystic Fibrosis, and with your help can make it possible.
Please support me!
With your help, we can invest our resources in research today, while raising funds for tomorrow, to ensure we have what it takes to reach the finish line. Together, we can make CF stand for Cure Found. Please help not only myself but everyone effected by Cystic FIboriss to not only have longer lives, but a better quality of life.
