My Xtreme Hike Story
Dear Family and Friends,
I have signed up to complete the extremely daunting task of hiking from rim to rim of the Grand Canyon on October 12th, to raise money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
You may be saying to yourself... “This doesn't sound like Allyson, hiking 23 miles.” Or asking yourself, “Does she even hike?” The answer is.... SHE DOES NOW!
Here are the reasons why:
ROYCE - An extremely amazing 19 year old whom I love dearly, living daily with CF. You will not meet a more fun loving, kind hearted, strong, and resilient young man!
KADYN - A strong and beautiful girl inside and out who lives daily with CF. So much love for this sweet girl!
AND for the thousands of others who live with this devastating disease.
I have fully committed to completing this task of hiking 23.9 miles of extreme terrain. I am training like I never have before. Every single dollar you donate will go to the CF foundation. A cure needs to be found! Will you PLEASE, PLEASE donate?
Thank you so much! Love you all!
Allyson

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. By participating in Xtreme Hike, I am helping to end this disease for thousands of people impacted by CF.
Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms can vary from person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to serious health issues.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.
Your support makes a difference.
By donating to my fundraising goal, you will help advance our mission for a cure for all. Please consider joining us and helping make CF stand for Cure Found.
