My Xtreme Hike Story

In May of 2022, the lives of many were forever changed after a senseless act of violence took the life of my uncle, Chris Brennan. Throughout the past year, I have been looking to find a way to best honor his memory, and I came to the conclusion that completing the Xtreme Hike would do just that. Uncle Chris hiked the Xtreme Hike for 8 consecutive years and was joined by my aunt for the past 5. Finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis was an important cause in Uncle Chris’s life because one of his college friends lives with CF. On September 21st my mom, aunt, and I will continue his legacy for the second year as we hike 30.1 miles in order to find a cure for CF. However, we can’t do it without you! There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I hike for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop hiking until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
