My Xtreme Hike Story
I was unsure whether to hike again this year, not that I couldn't , but just asking for donations can be hard. I feel if I can do anything to help not only Rob but all the others with CF live a better and longer life, than that is the least I can do.
Since Xtreme Hike 2017, Rob has been in the hospital 120 days and I expect there will be more before Sept 2018. The good news is he is on a medication that actually deals with the cause of CF and not just helping with the symptoms. This seems to be working as he is doing much better. This is where your donation money really makes a difference!! He is currently in the hospital having had surgery on his intestines.
The hike is about a month away and I thought I'd send out one more shout out in case you had forgotten..
Please help me reach my fundraising goal to continue the positive advancements not only for Rob, but for the other 30,000 people with CF to be able to do what most of us take for granted, just to be able to breathe!
Thank you so very much!
