Our Xtreme Hike Story

My patients and their parents inspire me and make me want to do more. I started this team in 2015 to further support the mission of the CF Foundation. The team name "Fortitude" was suggested by a patient's parent. It is a combination of my last name and "attitude". Fortitude is also a great word - look for some of its synonyms like "resilience, perseverance, and steadfastness." I see this fortitude in every person with CF and the people who love them.

Our Xtreme Hike team is driven by a dream that one day, every person with cystic fibrosis will have the chance to live a long, healthy life. You can help us reach that goal!
