My Xtreme Hike Story

Hello Supporters,

Thank you for visiting my CFF Xtreme Hike page for 2023. This will be my 9th year of participation. This year will be another 30 miles on hike day for a total of 260 miles hiked for the foundation on hike day. Taking into consideration training hikes, the total mileage is over 2000 miles. Now this may seem like a lot, which it is, but the thing to always remember is the reason we do it. Since I have been participating in the hike, I have had the privilege to hear the stories from parents and family members about new treatments that have come online that have helped their loved ones immensely. The parents and family members that participate in the hike have become friends and we cherish our time on the trail together.  It is important to recognize that many of these treatments were not available when I started participating with the foundation. It is your generous donations that facilitates the necessary research and development. Although there is not yet a cure for Cystic Fibrosis it is our continued support that will one day bring a one.
