My Xtreme Hike Story
Friends and Family,
I will be hiking in the 9th annual CFF Xtreme Hike to raise money and awareness for the foundation. Couldn't be more excited to be hiking this year with a dear friend, Wendy, and my cousin, Meg. This organization is near and dear to my heart: Meg's brother, Chase, has lived with cystic fibrosis (CF) for 32 years with the hope that one day, scientists will find a cure and therefore, improve the quality of life for those with the disease. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation tirelessly pursues its mission by supporting scientific research, which is dedicated to the discovery and development of new therapies as well as funding a network of specialized treatment centers that provide state-of-the-art care for all people with CF. Although the outlook for a child born with CF today has improved over the years, it is not good enough until all CF kids can live life with a full future. The current median predicted survival for someone with cystic fibrosis is 47 years old. This is NOT acceptable - we must raise more money to find a CURE so that ALL people with CF happily lead full, productive lives.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with CF. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!
I hope you will consider making a donation to support CF research. No donation is too small - every little bit counts!
