My Xtreme Hike Story

There are close to 40,000 children and adults living with cystic fibrosis in the US. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters and sons, neighbors and grandparents, coworkers and friends, navigating this challenging path personally, every single day. Once more, and most likely for the last time on the long trail, I hike for them. I hike for all those who love them. I hike for all those who have lost their lives because of CF and those they have left behind. I hike so that that part of the cystic fibrosis story can finally end. Real progress has been made for those living with CF, but there is still no cure.  We’ve come so far, but until there is more hope for every individual living with CF, our work is not done.
