
About Xtreme Hike
Every Xtreme Hike participant is driven by a dream that all people with cystic fibrosis should have the chance to live a long, healthy life. By joining us at Virginia Xtreme Hike, you can help make a difference for people living with CF.
How you can participate:
Register. Register to participate in-person or virtually at an Xtreme Hike event and help us ensure that everyone with CF has the chance to live a long, healthy life.
Recruit others to join you. Invite friends, family, and co-workers to join you in-person or virtually.
Get in Trail Shape. Join us for practice hikes throughout the Commonwealth to meet fellow Xtreme Hikers & train for the main event.
Practice Hike #1: July 8th - Pocahontas State Park, Richmond, VA
Practice Hike #2: July 22nd - Roaring Run Trail, Luray, VA
Practice Hike #3: August 5th - Three Ridges Trail, Roseland, VA
Practice Hike #4: August 19th - Torry Ridge/Mills Creek, Vesuvius, VA
Practice Hike #5: September 9th - McAfee Knob/Tinker Cliffs, Roanoke, VA
Share your story and start fundraising. Share why you are participating in Xtreme Hike through email and social media, and ask your friends and family to support your efforts by donating. You can use the participant center, the Fight CF mobile app, or Facebook Fundraising to reach your goal.
Join us on event day. Come together with family, friends, and colleagues to celebrate our collective efforts and commitment to find a cure for all people living with cystic fibrosis.

Events may be subject to change at any time, based on health concerns, including concerns based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials. In these instances when events are moved to a virtual format, sponsorship benefits may be adjusted to suit the virtual format.
