My Xtreme Hike Story

This April I will be setting out on my third Xtreme Hike with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I am honored to be a member of Team Vivi, hiking with Sally Ware in honor of her daughter, Vivian. Vivi lives with a diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis, a devastating genetic lung disease that affects about 30,000 people in the US. Team Vivi has committed to hiking for a cure... a 30.1 mile trek on the Appalachian Trail in one day! 

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure, and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop hiking until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
