My Xtreme Hike Story

Family and Friends,
On April 22 I will be hiking 30.1 continuous miles on the Appalachian Trail, in honor of my 6 year old nephew, Teddy Bing who has Cystic Fibrosis. The goal of this event is to raise funds for CF Research. I have committed to raising $3000.
What is Cystic Fibrosis?
It is a devastating genetic disease that makes it difficult to breathe and sadly shortens lives. There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis, including my nephew and godson, Teddy.
I hike for them and I am hiking for Teddy. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?
Hiking the App Trail for 10+ hours in one day is going to take a lot of training and will not be easy. However, one could say life is ‘not easy’ for Teddy - but you would never know it. Daily he has to take a prescribed set of medications, sit still for multiple breathing treatments, follow a very specific diet - all to be able to breathe and function as normally as possible. He does all of this without complaint and usually with a massive smile on his face. He fights every day and I am going to fight right alongside him and do whatever I can to ensure that CF stands for CURE FOUND in his lifetime.
Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We've come so far, but there's still so much work to do. I will not stop hiking until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
Please support me!
With your help, we can invest our resources in research today, while raising funds for tomorrow, to ensure we have what it takes to reach the finish line. Together, we can make CF stand for Cure Found. Please help me reach my fundraising goal by donating to my Xtreme Hike fundraising campaign today.
I am so grateful for any and all support! #TeamTeddy
