Fall 2022 Hike Weekend Itinerary*

4:00PM – Hiker Happy Hour/Check-In | The Holiday Inn Biltmore West

6:00PM – Inspiration Pasta Dinner – Mission Moment & Safety Briefing

9:00PM – Lights out for a good night’s sleep!

*Saturday, October 1st– Hike Day*

2:30AM Check in – Breakfast

3:00/3:15AM – Departures

4:00/4:30AM – The start of the Fall 2022 Xtreme Hike

12:00PM – 6:00PM – Pizza, beer, friends and family join us at the Finish Line for a celebration

6:00PM-12:00AM – Victory Awards Celebration Dinner – Open Bar & Dinner

9:00AM – Closing Ceremonies & Breakfast

12:00PM – Departures

We can’t wait to bring the CF community together for Xtreme Hike!! Our 2022 Xtreme Hike event will feature in-person and virtual experiences to help make a difference for people living with cystic fibrosis.

The Journey of Participation Includes:

  • Accommodations for three days and two nights
  • Transportation to and from the trail on Hike Day
  • Aid Stations every 5-10 miles stocked with nutrition, hydration, volunteers, first aid, and support
  • Xtreme Hike shirt and bag
  • Pre-Hike carb-load pasta dinner
  • Finish Line celebration pizza and beer
  • Post Hike dinner, celebration, and drinks
  • Victory awards breakfast
  • Daily workout calendar/three-month training program
  • The Xtreme Hike coaching team to assist you
  • An Xtreme Hike fundraising page to help funnel your generated donations to the XH Team Goal
  • The ability to make CF stand for CURE FOUND!!

Register. Register to participate in-person or virtually in this year’s Xtreme Hike event and help us stay the course and advance our mission. Stay up to date on how our chapter plans to safely bring the community together and make CF stand for Cure Found by registering today.

Recruit. Recruit others to participate with you! Friends, family, and co-workers can join you virtually from anywhere in the world.

Fundraise. Fundraise online by leveraging the tools in the Participant Center, the Fight CF mobile app, and Fundraise on Facebook to reach your goal. Create a virtual passion fundraising event by developing a fundraising event through your favorite hobby, activity, or passion.

Share your Journey Wear an Xtreme Hike shirt, team shirt, or your Cystic Fibrosis Foundation branded apparel, while you hike with us or on your own local trail or within your neighborhood! Track your activity on the Fight CF mobile app so you can hike with others participating in the event and across the country. Share how you decided to hike this year by sharing your story and posting a selfie on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Make sure to tag the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Celebrate.  Join us after the hike to celebrate with your team, or join us online for a virtual celebration. Contact your local chapter to learn more.

What is the Xtreme Hike?


In lieu of cash, we ask that you make all payments/contributions to the CF Foundation with a credit card or check. We accept all major credit cards. Thank you for understanding.

Events may be subject to change at any time, based on health concerns, including concerns based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials. In these instances when events are moved to a virtual format, sponsorship benefits may be adjusted to suit the virtual format.
