My Xtreme Hike Story
My Story
At age 28, I am blessed to live a life uninhibited by my CF, though that is not the case for thousand of others affected by CF, and may not always be the case for myself. I am participating in the Xtreme Hike this year because I can, doing it for those who cannot and for my future self. The goal is for everyone to live a life with easy breathing, no antibiotics, no days spent in the hospital, and no digestive issues.
Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms can vary from person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to more serious health issues.
Though amazing mountains have been climbed and conquered in the world of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,
there is still no cure, so we must keep climbing.
Your support makes a difference.
By donating, whatever amount, or just writing a message of support, you are helping to raise awareness and to advance our mission for a cure for all. Please consider joining us and helping make CF stand for Cure Found!
