About Xtreme Hike
Every Xtreme Hike participant is driven by a dream that all people with cystic fibrosis should have the chance to live a long, healthy life. By joining us at Tennessee Xtreme Hike, you can help make difference for people living with CF.
The CF Foundation Xtreme Hike requires sacrifice and determination, and challenges each hiker to reach personal and philanthropic milestones which celebrate and support those living with CF. In addition to the physical committment, each hiker takes on the challenge to reach a fundraising goal of $2,500 or more. Our staff and volunteers are here to ensure you receive the support you need and brainstorm the best fundraising options for you!
The Hiker's Journey. The Tennessee Xtreme Hike journey begins on Friday, September 20 in downtown Chattanooga on the beautiful Tennessee River. Hikers arrive at the hotel by 6pm to check in and partcipate in our Friday evening hiker meet and greet dinner plus presentation. Early Saturday morning, September 21, participants will rise with the sun and drive up Signal Mountain to our finish line celebration spot and parking area. From there hikers will shuttle up the mountain in groups to the trail head where they will hike along the beautiful Cumberland Trail on Signal Mountain, with highlights including waterfalls, beautiful rock formations and refreshing "blue holes" throughtout.
