My Xtreme Hike Story

Thank you for visiting my Extreme Hike fundraising page.  This event brings together two very important parts of my life, raising awareness and advocating for people with cystic fibrosis, and challenging myself with hiking adventures.  I began working in CF research in 2015 and found myself wanting to get involved in the CF community and started volunteering for the foundation.  This community has become a second family to me and I am so proud to continue serving the mission of finding a cure for this devastating disease.  There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I hike for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop hiking until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
