My Xtreme Hike Story

There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis including three that are very special to me! As a CF Dad, and now a CF Grandpa, I want to do whatever I can to help my three and others, including something as crazy as hiking 30 miles in one day!

Real progress has been made for those who have CF as we have seen firsthand, especially over the last few years. My grandson would not be here if it were not for the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, doctors, and researchers who have developed new treatments and medications. However, there is still no cure for this devastating disease, and many lives are cut far too short! There is still work to do to find a cure!
