My sweet nephews
Alex and Fisher, my nephews have CF. They do compression vest therapy twice a day to hlep keep their lungs clear and healthy. There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. We walk for Alex and Fisher and for each person living with or affected by CF.
Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease. By walking today, we can help add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. We hope you will support us in our efforts. Your donation could help fund research for a cure.
Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families. It will be held at the Little Rock Zoo on Saturday, May 19th. Registration for this event is free. This is a 1 mile fun, casual walk around the zoo. You are welcome to make a donation without joing the walking team. Last but not least, you can definately sign up to just come walk with us and do not have to make a donation to do so. There is not minimum (or maximum) donation.
