This is our 14th year participating in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Great Strides event.  As parents of children with cystic fibrosis we are forever grateful to the CF Foundation for their endless pursuit of not only a cure to cystic fibrosis, but also treatments to prolong and improve the quality of life for all those with cystic fibrosis.  Donors to the foundation have our profound appreciation because without them, none of this would be possible.  This is such a hopeful time for us.  Sadie and Wyatt have been taking Trikafta, a corrector drug, for over a year now.  A miracle hoped for for twelve years, but never assured, never promised.  I still cannot believe how much it has changed our lives.  Sadie was able to go to a three day/two night camp with school, which wouldn't have been possible really pre-Trikafta.  Cystic Fibrosis is still part of our lives, but Trikafta has given us a freedom we haven't been able to enjoy for their whole lives; as well as a new kind of hope for their futures.  So on behalf of our family, and so many other CF families, thank you...thank you so much for making these miracles possible.

There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
