Welcome to our 2024 Zen Walkers fundraising page!

It is hard to believe that we are walking our 16th great strides walk for cystic fibrosis. This year it will be a little early on September 15th At the gorgeous natural bridges State Park in Santa Cruz. 

Zen turned 16 in May and is growing into a wonderful young man. We had adventures throughout Europe this summer and he got his international powerboat certification!! He really stepped out of his shell. We are very excited for the future holds I’m so grateful for his continued health.

Thanks to the incredible work of foundations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, he is thriving on his new medication, Trikafta. We are so grateful to every single person who has supported the research for a cure.

The walk will begin at the gorgeous Natural Bridges State Park. ALL are welcome to join for a splendid walk along the ocean. If you would like to Join our team and help us get one step closer to a cure for cystic fibrosis – a rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that makes it difficult to breathe, we would love to have you join too!!

With supporters like you by our side, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation continues to lead the way in the fight against CF, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress. The life expectancy of someone born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years. Despite this progress, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies either because their disease is too advanced or because their specific genetic mutations will not respond. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day in the face of this devasting disease.
