Reese, our precious granddaughter, is now 12 years old! What a beautiful young lady! Reese is in the 6th grade at the middle school and is a great student! She enjoys playing basketball and volleyball and puts her heart and soul into everything she does! Reese fills our hearts with love every single day! We love her so much!
As you may know, Reese has Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects the lungs and pancreas. We are blessed that Reese is a happy, energetic 12-year-old with an incredible zest for life despite having to endure the challanges a young person with cystic fibrosis faces on a daily basis. She has 40 minutes of treatments twice a day, takes enzymes before meals and snacks. She visits the CF clinic every 2 months and routinely has blood work, x-rays and tests. She does all this without complaint!
New drugs like Trikafta, a triple-combination therapy was approved by the FDA in 2019 for patients 12 years and older. We are happy that Reese qualified for this treatment in July 2021. Your donations have helped make this possible! Although much progress has been made, there is still no cure. Our wish is that one day a cure will be found for our granddaughter, Reese, and everyone with Cystic Fibrosis! We need your help to make that happen!
Please join us at the walk on May 14, 2022 and/or make a donation to our "Great Strides" fundraising campaign and help make a difference in the lives of people with Cystic Fibrosis! Please help to make CF stand for CURE FOUND! Your support means so much!
Your gift is 100-percent tax deductible.
