I hope this email finds you and your family healthy and safe.
Although the pandemic has made the Great Strides walk virtual this year...it is still the largest fundraising event for the CF Foundation. The goal this year is to raise $83K from just the Albany event. My family and I have participated in this fundraising benefit on behalf of my niece Victoria for the last 11 years.
Victoria turned 17 years old in April. It was a very long and stressful year for her but she is now eagerly waiting for the opportunity to take her road test for her drivers license.
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that affects the lungs. Unfortunately there is NO cure for CF. If you or your children have ever used a nebulizer or asthma inhaler...these were all developed through CF research and development.
Jodi and I are now participating and fundraising for the CF 50 Mile Challenge. We will both be doing 100 miles (walking, running, biking) over the next 30 days to raise awareness for this disease. Please make a donation and support us and the Northeastern NY CF Foundation chapter.
Any amount is truly appreciated and is tax deductible. Thanks again for your support
