Hello I wanted to let everyone know the reason behind wanting to walk for cystic fibrosis. My daughter Natalia was diagnosed with CF in her new born screening. We knew she could potentially have this disease while I was still pregnant with her. At only 20 weeks pregnant the doctors discovered that I was a carrier of this gene. I was informed that I was still within the time frame to terminate the pregnancy like I had that risk. There was no way in this world I would terminate the life of my own baby girl. No matter how she arrived we where going to love her the same. Natalia will turn 7 and has been fighting since day 1. We have had long hospital stays and operations but we will not let cf get the best of her. She's a blessing and we love her. She's a sweet little girl but can have a little diva attitude. She has a smile on everyday that seems to keep us in a good mood. She has taught me how to be strong and not let life knock you down. Help us raise awareness for cystic fibrosis, donate and join our team and walk with us May 16,2021. Thank you.
