Once again, I am raising funds to fight Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and I thank you for your continued support. In 1976, my sister, Carolyn, died of CF, a rare genetic disease that affects approximately 30,000 in the U.S. There is NO CURE.
She was married and pregnant at the time of her death, which made it doubly difficult to accept. However, she left a legacy of strength and courage behind, which continues to inspire me daily. She lived more in her 24 years than most people live in 70 years...what an inspiration she was to all who knew her.
Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease. By walking today, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me in helping me to reach my fundraising goal by donating to my Great Strides fundraising campaign. Your gift will help add tomorrows to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis by supporting life-saving research and medical progress. Your gift is 100-percent tax deductible.
Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
Please support this cause so dear to Carolyn’s & my heart.
