My grandson, Wesley,just turned 7.  Like any other 7 year old, he is full of energy, curious, likes to build things, and play with dinosaurs and transformers.  Unlike any other 7 year old, his daily routine includes swallowing enzyme pills whenever he eats, other medicines, breathing treatments, and chest compression treatments.  He is one of approximately 30,000 Americans living with Cystic Fibrosis. Great Strides is an annual event to raise awareness about CF and money that goes toward research. 

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?
