My Great Strides Story

I am walking to support my sweetest niece Emma! Emma and our family and friends will be participating in the Great Strides walk in Jackson, and I will be joining virtually from New Orleans! If you are interested, register to walk in Jackson or join me virtually (I would love some folks to join me in person in New Orleans!), or consider donating to the CF Foundation in Emma’s name to help us find a cure.

Emma is loved and cared for by the best parents, grandparents, family, and friends, and I am so proud and lucky to be her aunt!! We are optimistic about the future and truly believe that a cure could be found in Emma’s lifetime. 

About CF

Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms can vary from person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to serious health issues. 

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.
