There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them and hope you will support me in my efforts.
My Story: On Friday, November 13th, 2015 I lost one of my most inspiring colleagues and friends, Kristin McFall. Kristin was part of my life for over 15 years and sadly lost her battle with Cystic Fibrosis at the young age of 45.
I remember the very first time I met Kristin. I did not even know what Cystic Fibrosis was. Over the next 15 ½ years, I was fortunate enough to have her become my best friend and one of the most important people in my life.
Every day spent with her was a blessing. Kristin could make you laugh, cry and she always had a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
Kristin spent her time here exactly the way she wanted to – inspiring and motivating others in the fight against CF. I have learned so much from Kristin and I am forever grateful to her for that and the memories that I have. I have also learned so much about cystic fibrosis and it means a lot to me to continue to help in this fight.
Thank you for your support for this cause in Kristin’s memory. and supporting our other friends with Cystic Fibrosis.
