COME WALK WITH US
Please join team A Ray of Hope for Martha for the Great Strides Walk to Cure CF at Lake Phalen Regional Park on May 19, 2024. The walk starts at noon.
Our son Ray was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis in 1990, and our daughter Martha was diagnosed with CF in 1993. Despite living with a complex genetic disease that requires a ton of daily care, Ray and Martha participated in everything they possibly could, never letting CF hold them back.
Unfortunately, Ray passed away from a rare, undetected heart condition at the age of twelve. He did not live long enough to benefit from Trikafta, a groundbreaking CF drug that has improved the quality of life for Martha, who is now an active, adventurous 30 year old.
While Martha has managed to stay out of the hospital for the last few years, Trikafta is not a cure and it does not work for everyone living with CF. We need your help to continue making strides in medical advancements so that every CF warrior has a fighting chance at a long, happy, and healthy life.
