There are approximately 40,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. Great Strides is the Foundation’s largest national fundraising event. More than 125,000 people participate in hundreds of walks across the country each year, raising awareness & supporting the Foundation’s mission to cure CF. The funds raised from Great Strides help provide people with CF the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research & drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high quality, specialized care.
