Thank you so much for visiting Team Whitt's Page - We are extremely grateful that our family and friends want to help CURE cystic fibrosis!
Cystic fibrosis is a rare genetic life-shortening disease that causes serious lung infections that over time limit the ability to breathe and also damages the pancreas, liver, intestine, and reproductive organs. A few decades ago people with cystic fibrosis didn't live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, people with the disease are graduating from high school and college, pursuing careers, getting married, and starting families of their own. The progress in research and medical treatments has happened thanks to the hard work and generosity of so many like you.
We are deeply grateful for the support we have received from our family and friends! You have helped make incredible advancements happen including the most recently FDA approved therapy for cystic fibrosis, Trikafta. We could say thank you every minute of every day and it would not be enough.
Normally at this time, we would be preparing for our 20th annual Great Strides walk in Washington, DC. While we can’t gather to walk together this year, we are looking forward to participating in a special online national CF Foundation event:
Together: Celebrating 65 Years
June 5th - Friday
5:00PM - 6:00PM
If you would like to join us, copy and paste this link in your browser to register: https://on.cff.org/Together65
We know that these are extremely difficult and worrying times for all families. If you are able and would like to support our team this year, we would be so very appreciative.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your kindness, love, support and generosity. You have played an important role in giving Walter the gift of time & the hope of a long, healthy and happy life. We cannot thank you enough!
