My introduction to cystic fibrosis started when I was about 11 years old when my dad took part in Bowl for a Breath. Little did I know at the time that the introduction I had to CF would fold into my career path.
I have had the honor for the past 12 years to support those with CF in the clnical setting as a child life specialist. During this time, I had the priviledge of being part of many children and familys' story of their journey with this disease. Along the way, I also made adult friends who also have CF.
At the beginning of 2022, my career pivoted to supporting the larger community and I started a new adventure and working with the Community Insights & Partnership team at the national office. I am excited to stand beside them in Bethesda, Maryland on May 4th to continue the mission of making CF stand for Cure Found.
Real progress has been made as we continue to take steps forward in research. However, there is still no cure for the devastating diesease and many lives are cut too short. Together we will not stop until all of those with CF have a cure and we will not leave anyone behind.
Please support me!
We are at a pivotal moment in the history of cystic fibrosis and your support matters. With your help, we can invest our resources in research today, while raising funds for tomorrow, to ensure we have what it takes to reach the finish line. Please help me reach my fundraising goal!
