Dear Friends and Family:
This year Team Quantum is participating in its 34th Great Strides Walk. Please join us in the Bethesda, Maryland walk held at Elm Street Park, to help the approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. We walk for them. Will you join us? To become a member of our team, just click on the "Join Team Quantum" button. From there, you can make a donation, begin fundraising, or just come out and walk with us to show your support.
My son, Danny, is 38 years old and we have walked for him every year since he was four years old. Danny still struggles daily with the effects of CF but because of all of the advances that have been made over the years, he is very much alive and living a happy life while still fighting CF every single day. Danny is the father of his adorable three-year-old daughter, Shannon, and he has successfully made it through a second double lung transplant.
We owe so much to the people that have provided the medical science to make this all possible. Danny's journey has not been an easy one and without the support of so many coworkers, friends, and family, we would not be where we are today. Thank you all!
By joining our team and making a donation, you are joining a growing group of people committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. We will not rest until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. The time is now. Together, we can conquer this disease.
The Great Strides Walk is a fun event that provides a fantastic opportunity for family, friends, students, and colleagues to come together to make a difference in the lives of people with CF -- join Team Quantum today!
